If working at a company that values diversity in the workplace is important to you, then you can save yourself time by searching for open roles on diversity job boards. If a company posts their positions on these specific job boards, then you can assume that they are working to create a culture with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at the forefront.

To help you narrow down your search and hopefully find a job that matches your goals more quickly than you would on your own, we’ve created a list of diversity job boards that you can use for your job search.

Best diversity job boards

1. Diversity.com

One of the first diversity-focused job sites is Diversity.com. It is mainly utilized by candidates from underrepresented groups. Diversity.com is a Black, family-owned business. And, they have been open for over 20 years. They have roles in a variety of industries offered in a variety of states. Moreover, candidates can also search for full-time, part-time, and contract roles, though the vast majority are full-time.

2. WorkplaceDiversity.com

WorkplaceDiversity.com is a minority and veteran owned and operated company. Their job board is used by hundreds of thousands of diverse candidates. Moreover, they have a variety of more specific job boards as well. Some of these boards include one for veterans, differently-abled folks, LGBTQIA+ people, and more.

3. Hispanic/Latino Professionals Association (HLPA)

The Hispanic/Latino Professionals Association (HLPA) is a professional network for Hispanic/Latinx people. Therefore, their job board is a good place for Latinx candidates to find roles at companies that are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Plus, the HLPA creates lists of top-rated companies by industry! So, candidates can see where their prospective employers fall among the competition.

4. iHispano

As part of the Professional Diversity Network (PDN), iHispano is a job board for Latinx candidates. They also offer access to career events, like workshops, networking opportunities, career fairs, and more. Candidates can check out the companies hiring on the site. Then, they can see if there are events at which they can interact with the employer. This will help them increase their chances of getting an interview.

5. Black Career Network

Similarly, the Black Career Network is also hosted under the same PDN umbrella. But, this job board is for mainly Black candidates. In addition, they place a lot of emphasis on free recruiting events and gatherings (including virtually), so that they can create a sense of community amongst job-seekers and employers.

6. BlackJobs

BlackJobs is the largest Black career community online. Many top companies, like Netflix, Amazon, and Dell, post their job board. Candidates can search by keyword, location, type of job (full-time or part-time), company, compensation, and workplace (onsite, temporarily remote, or permanently remote). In addition, BlackJobs offers hiring events for candidates looking to expand their networks or meet employers before applying to roles.

7. PowerToFly

A job board specifically focused on women, trans, non-binary, and gender-non-conforming candidates, PowerToFly also places an emphasis on lifestyle-focused opportunities. The goal of the platform is to connect Fortune 500 companies and startups with candidates looking to work at companies that value gender diversity, equity, and inclusion. They also offer events and mentorship opportunities.

8. OutinTech

A job board and community for LGBTQIA+ people, Out in Tech provides valuable resources for job-seekers and professionals. All of the open roles listed on their site are from their corporate council, so if you find one that you like, you can tell them you applied via email and potentially get a further reference.
